Everything I Pack in My Carry On Bag

As a long time blogger sharing travel content and the founder of travel atelier En Route to Rêverie, I’m a pretty seasoned traveler at this point in my life. Packing and preparing for a trip is rather formulaic for me nowadays and I love having handy checklists of everything I need to bring on a trip.

I start by picking the bag of my choice for my personal item. It is typically the above Celine Phantom tote as it fits everything I need and is super durable. I find it is better to travel with than a more structured tote as I can fit more in it.

Then, anything that doesn’t fit in my Carry On Tote goes into my Tumi Mary Poppins Bag. I usually leave with it only half full so I can put any shopping into it. It fits *so* much!

Aside from the usual suspects of Passport, wallet with foreign currency, house keys, chargers and my laptop (stashed in this beautiful case that I use one pocket for my laptop, one for my Kindle and one for receipts I’m gathering while en route), here’s everything else I’m bringing in my personal item as my carry on.
