Noteworthy little things bringing me joy of late: A new perfume, an addition to my ring stack, a feel-good playlist and more.

I've always been someone who finds a lot of comfort in the little things. I'm a creature of habit and love rituals and routines.

Behold - The Little Things List. A short but sweet list of a few things that are sparking joy and bringing me smiles of late.

It is my hope that it in turn inspires you to take stock of the little things in your life bringing you doses of happiness.

The Little Things List - edition 21

1. Dior Lucky Perfume: My latest addition to my collection of light and floral fragrances. I have a fascination with the house of DIOR that started several years ago and relate heavily to Monsieur Dior’s belief in symbolism (his favorites having been the bee and a star). Bees are my sign of good things to come and I was stung by a bee the other week in Provence that left me in pain but simultaneously smiling. I bought this perfume to honor the moment and the trip and nearly six years of En Route to Rêverie. I really enjoyed this read on the perfume itself, too.

2. Birthstone Ring: The team at Jane Pope graciously reached out with an offer to send me this beautiful ring in my birthstone. In honor of my forthcoming 40th birthday I decided this would be a fun nod to a milestone birthday and I just love it. It is striking yet dainty. It stacks beautifully and I’ve found myself wearing it nearly every day since it arrived.

3. Seasonal Produce: I’ve reaped the benefits of being in France during peak asparagus and strawberry season and been eating my weight in both. It’s been absolute heaven!!

4. Jolie Showerhead: I’ve been really enjoying this showerhead that has a filter to remove chlorine, heavy metals & other contaminants from your shower water. My skin tends to hate NYC water so I’ve been happy to have it installed (it took me two minutes to do so!) and it’s my sincere hope I see noticeable improvements to my skin and hair with regular use when I’m at home and not on the road.

5. Windows Flung Wide Open Playlist: I rediscovered this playlist I made years ago and truly it is perfection for those Spring days where you open every window in your house or roll the windows down in your car while driving and want to sing aloud to fun tunes.

6. The return of linen season: Linen season is back and I couldn’t be happier! I switched over my closet the other weekend and got all my linen pieces back and ready for action. Also started wearing plenty of spring looks on my recent trips - you can shop what I packed for Paris and Provence in Spring HERE.

7. Substack! I’ve been active on this platform for two months now and I am loving it. It’s made me excited to write, to strategize paid vs. free content and I’ve loved the other writers and creators I’ve discovered on this platform.
