Happy Friday from Brooklyn! I arrived back home last weekend after nearly two weeks in the South of France. I always love when I fly home on a Saturday. It means I get to spend all of Sunday doing all my get-back-to-life items without feeling tethered to my laptop and inboxes. I unpacked, opened (too many) packages, went a long walk, ordered groceries, worked on a bit of trip planning, went to yoga and made dinner in my kitchen. It was a Sunday well spent and a reminder that being home is always a gift.

I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!

The Weekly Edit 8.7.26

Housekeeping note: This post is too long for email. Please enjoy it in the Substack app or on your desktop.

  • I spent a fair bit of time finalizing the details for my next trip. I had a bunch of trains to book within Italy for my upcoming vacation and also remembered how nice it is to have that week of the trip be something where I don’t have to plan much. Maybe a spa treatment, maybe a few dinner reservations. But otherwise the goal is to be untethered.

  • I did a lot of the items on this list.

  • I made *yet again* this corn pesto pasta. It is so, so good. (I shared more of my favorite summertime meals in this recent newsletter).

  • I used this week’s (very) rainy weather as an excuse to fill my home with lit candles I love at the moment including this one, this one and this one.

  • This week was a blur of work obligations. I had multiple things to film and shoot and I am busy already prepping fall content for the site (!!) My longtime assistant is also out on her honeymoon so the team is down a person and I am working to try and best prioritize my time as my new team member gets up to speed. It is busy, busy, busy at w&w HQ!!

  • Hotels to add to your bucket list.

  • Expensive stuff I think is worth it.

  • Some cute outfits for your weekends now...and as the weather transitions.

  • The greatest luxury hotels on earth.

  • One of my favorite easy, protein-packed meals.

  • As someone obsessed with her Notes app, I loved this piece in Time.

  • The future of hospitality merchandise.

  • An easy way to help teachers this forthcoming school year.

  • A twice-annual French antiques fair to know.

  • LOTS of good newness dropped into the Under $200 Shop this week! Worth a browse for sure. (And plenty of the items are under $100!)

  • The Nordstrom Sale ends this weekend and there’s still some goodness in stock like this Barbour jacket, these easy eyeshadow sticks I personally bought and are great, these sneakers I own, this cute trench, these boots, this gorgeous wool coat, these versatile booties and my favorite body care products.

  • Did I just order another WNU linen button down? Absolutely - my collection keeps growing. I wear size US 8 / UK 12. Also got this dress from the brand and it is soooo good. Easy, breezy and perfect for high summer. I got a size US 8 but likely could have done a US 6 as it is quite billowy and a bit oversized.

  • Tuckernuck has some good new arrivals including this little tshirt dress, this dress, this dress, these crochet shorts, this dress, this top + matching pants and I am eyeing this cashmere tee for next season. And while you’re shopping, my favorite shirt dress is finally restocked in black in all sizes! I wear a L.

  • This chic hand fan is finally back in stock. Or there’s this other pretty one I just saw!

  • This dress just arrived and it is perfection. The embroidery detail is even prettier in person. (Size 8).

  • One of my most used bags is on sale! And while you’re shopping, this raffia tote is very good.

  • I had ordered another one of my favorite Spanx sweatshirts (size M) and when doing so added these trousers to my cart on a whim and yessss they are so good! Look like a dressier trouser but are pull on, have pockets and I didn’t need to hem them. Win/win/win. I got size R/M.

  • This new Varley cardigan I added to my collection is so good. The color is unique and striking, the fabric lovely. I got a size L and want to style it with these pants as seen on their site. Also tempted by this bag and this trench from their pre-fall new arrivals!

  • My new hobby is looking for the perfect pre-loved Dior Bobby bag on Vestiaire Collective.

  • Dermstore has up to 25% off - notably included are La Roche-Posay at 20% off, NuFACE at 25% off, Dr. Diamond’s Metacine at 20% off and they are now carrying Arrae which is 25% off (I take three of their supplements daily!) And this set is now 50% off offering incredible value to test a lot of hero products.

  • And in other sale news - I worked with Brooklinen this week to share my new towels are 20% off as part of their Splash Sale! Also linked all my favorite bedding I’ve been raving about for a decade now!
