The December 2025 Q&A

November was so busy and so on the move that I failed to get out a Q&A so we’ll make up for that now.

Housekeeping note: This post is too long for email. Please enjoy it in the Substack app or on your desktop.

In this month’s edition:

  • What I’m excited about in 2026

  • What to splurge on in London & Paris

  • My recent weight loss + how I did it

  • Noteworthy belts

  • My IG Stories cadence

  • Investment sweaters

  • Favorite purchases of 2025

  • Thoughts on dressing with a color analysis

  • What I’d change about my life in NYC

  • Advice for starting your own business

Let’s get into it…!

What belts are we liking these days?

I have a few designer belts I love from Celine and Loewe but otherwise I wear those I own from Madewell (this one and this one are two of my most worn), Aureum Collective, B-Low The Belt (just ordered this one and this one) and next I want to try those from Déhanche as a few friends have raved about them.

I want to invest in 1-2 nice sweaters I won’t get sick of and can be worn a lot - which ones of those you own would you recommend starting with?

If I had to choose just two in my wardrobe right now - I would choose the La Ligne Mini Marin (I wear a L) and the La Ligne Lean Lines Sweater - either in Solid or Striped - depending on what you think you’d wear more. I personally love the striped ones under coats this time of year.

They are both workhorses in my closet. I can wear them with a variety of bottoms, I think they are flattering on and they are just both really well made with soft, plush knits and have a variety of color options. But if you’re looking to start investing I always recommend starting with neutrals first because you’ll likely get more wear out of those.
