What kind of denim are we wearing this spring? I’m same height as you and I’d love some recommendations that feel fresh.

Denim is feeling a bit more relaxed again this season, but not sloppy and I’m personally still not wearing distressed denim. (I’m sure it’ll be back en vogue before we know it though!)

Think: a slightly looser straight leg, a subtle barrel shape and mid-rise silhouettes that feel easy but still polished.

For my fellow 5’5” girls, proportions are everything. I’ve been reaching most for cropped straight leg jeans that hit just above the ankle (so key for making flats feel intentional), a slim barrel jean with just a hint of shape, nothing overly exaggerated because it’s not aligned with my personal style and then full-length straight leg styles like the AYR Legend.

Favorites right now of mine: AYR The Bud, Agolde Ren, Sezane Brut Sexy in Ecru, Reformation Cynthia Jeans (size up at least one size if not two!!), Veronica Beard Daniela Jeans, Citizens of Humanity Winslow Jeans.

I can’t find your cobbler rec — do you mind resharing it please?

Of course - I take all my shoes to Firm Shoe Repair and have for over 12 years. They’ve repaired everything from well-loved ballet flats to boots that truly looked beyond saving.

You can pick only two lip combos — what are you choosing!!

Ahhhhhh. This is so hard as man do I have an insane lip color collection.

I most often rely on Westman Atelier Lip Pencil in Shade Petal + Summer Fridays Lip Balm in Beige OR paired with the YSL Loveshine in shade 44.

And my forever favorite combo for years now is Victoria Beckham Lip Definer in Shade 2 with Gucci Lipstick in Sally Soft Honey and Victoria Beckham Posh Gloss in Shade Bikini.
